There are various reasons for each individual to include exercise regime in their daily routine. It could be weight management, acquiring fitness, or gaining mental stability or for better sleep. Whatever may be the reason including exercise every day in our daily routine is best practice. But how many people are strictly continuing their routine as planned? Do's and Dont's of DIabetes

        Diabetes is a life long condition. Diet and weight management plays vital role in controlling dianetes. Listed below, essential guidelines in controlling diabetes.
  • Eating at regular intervals helps keep the sugar levels consistent and avoids hypoglycemia.
  • Replacing simple carbohydrates such as ( rice, white bread, white pasta, maida) with complex carbohydrates such as oats, bajra, jowar, ragi and wheat would help avoid rise in the sugar levels.
  • Opt for a low-carb meal consisting of roti, vegetable, salad, egg whites or skim paneer instead of a full meal which includes roti, rice, dal, vegetable and salad at one time.
  •  It is advisable to eat either one portion of protein (skim milk products, chicken, fish, egg whites) and a portion of fibre (vegetables, fruits, salads) or Omega 3 fats (fish, flaxseeds, walnuts) in each meal to help accelerate metabolism and promote fat loss and thereby effective sugar control.
  • It is important to incorporate exercise into daily lifestyle (5 days of walking for 45 minutes) to maintain sugar levels and induce fat loss and maintain levels.
  • 1 tsp methi seeds, soaked okra(Ladies Finger) water, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 glass Karela(bitter gourd)  juice are few home remedies which are known to control diabete.
  • Chromium Picolinate is a mineral known to help maintain and over a long period of time; lower sugar levels in diabetics when consumed 15 mins before a carbohydrate loaded meal.
  • Regular checks on the glucometer are most effective way to monitor the daily food intake and its effect on the sugar levels to determine the right food options for diabetics and the options to be restricted or minimised due to their effect on the sugar levels.
  • Controlling or losing weight is the most effective and guaranteed way to manage diabetes.
  • To conclude, diabetes management through dietary intervention is the most effective way to help the body combat and control diabetes along with necessary medication. It is never too late to make the change.

TIPS TO REDUCE BELLY FAT

        Excess fat surrounding our belly is very difficult to lose, unless we don’t exercise. And also excess fat can increase the risk of heart diseases, some types of cancer and diabetes. By taking only diet precautions it’s not possible to lose belly fat. With a little dedication and extra care in food intake, and exercise will make it possible to burn fat sorrounding our belly.

  1. It's been poular from ages. Early morning have honey mixed in luke warm water.
  2. Before having lunch at 12, have any fruit. You can have fruits like grapes,1 cup melon,apple, berries, orange,banana,papaya. These fruits have more water content.
  3. Have Green tea, anti oxidants in green tea are very good for health and also it will burn extra fat in our body.
  4. Plan for healthy meal. Include foods that will reduce fat and cholestral. These foods are fish,eggs, spinach,cabbage,carrot,cucumber,brown rice, oats.
  5. Drink more water.
  6. Every day some physical activity must be done like yoga,Aerobics, walking,gym. There are some special postures in yoga to reduce belly fat.
  7. Every day we must make sure that we have 6-7 hours sleep. Less or over sleep will make body to lose the power of burning extra fat.

HOME BASED PLANTS FOR AIR PURIFICATION

So far i have written about many posts on healthy eating habbits. In  this post i will ecplain about inddor plants and its benefits. Indoor plants not only add beauty to our home, but play a vital role in purifying the air. Indoor pollutants have been ranked top environmental risks to public health. Stagnant indoor environment allows pollutants to build up and stick around in greater amounts that we humans should be breathing in. Indoor plants are natural life  support system. NASA concluded that indoor plants improve the air quality of your house.

Here is the list of indoor plats:

1. Aloe Vera: Aloe era is one of the best air purification plants that filters out air polutats and toxins. Apart from purification its gel has amazing healing properties as well. It can be used for wounds and cuts and burns. It can easily grow in a small pot or a window sill.

2.Bamboo Palm:  It has air purifying score of 8.4. It filters out benzene and trychloroethylene, noth of which can regularly creep into  living spaces. It also helps to restore moisture that tends to dry due to indoor heating units. These plants need to be well waered in direct sunlight.

3.Peace Lily: These are beautiful and can thrive without water and sunlight. they can keep your air free of amnoia,formaldehyde, benzene trychloroethylene, xylene and toluene making it on of the best air purifying plants. Special Note: These are highly toxic to cats when they consume.

4.Rubber Plants: The Oxygen output of the rubber plant is higher that the most other indoor plants, allowing it to purify air more quickly. This too can survive in less sunlight and in less temperatures.

5.Chinese Evergreen: The longer we keep this, the more effective it becomes in puriying air. it can remove benzene and formaldehyde. These are meant for good luck to bring in and used as a decorative plant.
